With a presence that extends far beyond borders, Naspers envisioned its Bangalore office as a workplace that reflected its expansive outlook and progressive ethos. The brief called for a space that felt contemporary, confident, and internationally attuned—an environment that resonated with the company’s scale and forward-thinking identity. Rather than remaining a purely functional setting, the office was to embody a refined aesthetic sensibility aligned with the stature and vision of the brand.
As the first point of engagement, the reception was envisioned as a contemporary and refined introduction to the brand. Clean lines, subtle contrasts, and a restrained aesthetic established a modern tone that set the foundation for the rest of the office.
Customization played a central role throughout the project. The conference room, feature walls, wallpapers, and glass graphics were all specially designed to align with the company’s character, creating a consistent visual language across the workspace. These tailored interventions brought individuality and vibrancy to the otherwise neutral shell.
Acoustic paneling was incorporated not only to enhance functionality but also to introduce layered visual texture. Cabin furniture was reimagined to move away from conventional desk arrangements, allowing for more flexible and dynamic use of space.
Sustainability was addressed through strategic upcycling and reuse. Existing storage units and glass partitions were thoughtfully integrated into the new layout, reducing waste while maintaining design continuity.
Within the main workspace, a striking ceiling installation replaced the earlier flat plane, creating a central focal point and energizing the environment. While core workstation units were retained and refreshed, the new intervention established a stronger sense of identity and cohesion, celebrating the collaborative spirit of the Naspers team.
Additional cabins with transparent facades enhanced openness and visual connectivity across the office.
The resulting design is a polished yet vibrant transformation—an uplifted workspace that balances clarity, creativity, and function, executed with careful attention to detail.
